The OU Writing Center and the Writing Enriched Curriculum Program have developed a four-part workshop series based on topics requested by faculty at OU.

This session will reveal findings of a large-scale national study of students’ meaningful writing assignments [meaningfulwritingproject.net].  The University of Oklahoma was one of the sites of this research and the data from our university challenges us to think about when students do most of their writing at OU, what they believe is valuable about writing, and how they perceive writing will impact their futures. Bring an assignment that you would like to make more meaningful for students and we will work together to reshape the assignment to be more expansive and inclusive, two important features of meaningful writing project assignments.

We do hope you will find one or more of these workshops of interest to you.  Register for the workshop(s) you plan to attend: http://www.ou.edu/content/writingcenter/faculty_writers/write_track.html
